BACKGROUND AND PROGRAM BEFORE THE START
Pre-start meeting of Riders and the evening part of presentation will take place on Wednesday, July 8, 2026 at Chodovar brewery (restaurant Stará Sladovna), in Chodová Planá. More info here.
Program:
12:30 – lunch
14:00 – start of 40km Social Ride, with stop at Kronl brewery in Mariánské Lázně (cca 15:15-16:00, more info below)
17:30 – start of presentation and pick-up of GPS trackers
18:00 – possibility of 50min guided tour of the brewery (10 EUR / 250 CZK, min 20 people)
19:00-20:30 – dinner
19:30 – diashow by Martin Souček: Race Across America
20:45 – RACZ26 pre-start meeting
21:30 – informal gathering
23:00 – limit for evening pick-up of GPS trackers
Second part of presentation will take place on Thursday morning, from 7:15-7:45 at the square in Planá, in area of RACZ26 start.
SOCIAL RIDE
After great feedback from last year´s edition, we will be again organize optional Social Ride, where you will be able to meet other Riders, explore area of czech Wild West and test your legs and equipment during a day before start.
You can look forward to an approximately 40km/450m route to beautiful czech spa town Mariánské Lázně, where we will make a stop at the iconic Singing Fountain and taste superb beer in local brewery Kronl. Expected return around 17:00.
PRE-START ACCOMMODATION
For RACZ26 Riders we have booked dozens of bed for overnight stay before start, from Wednesday 8.7. to Thursday. We can arrange also booking for a previous night.
Below listed numbers of beds are booked exclusively for RACZ26 Riders, if you will come with a family or companions, please find other accommodation elsewhere.
