MORAVIA GRAVEL 2027 is a fifth year of the 2-stage UB Cup Challenge on gravel routes, where participants collect points for their performances and placements in individual stages. Competitors do not necessarily have to complete both stages and can always choose between the main and short routes on both weekend days.
Saturday’s stages will lead the Zábřežská and Hanušovická Highlands to the foothills of the Jeseníky Mountains, and back along the Morava River. On Sunday, you will visit the area around Lanškroun, Suchý vrch and Králíky.
Each stage will include one Refreshment Station and one RestPoint, where competitors can have food or drinks and send a snack package there for the rest of the stage.
Again, we also have Family routes prepared for both days with a length of 65/30km, which can be ridden by family and friends of the main route participants.
EVENT BACKGROUND
We have prepared facilities for MG27 in Wellness hotel and camp Bozeňov, in village Dolní Bušínov near Zábřeh.
All stages start and finish here (with the exception of the Family 30 routes).
Competitors can stay at a campsite or hotel, but of course they can also find their own accommodation or drive home after Saturday’s stage.

LENGTH AND ELEVATION: 181 km / 3000 m or 141 km / 2100 m
START: 9.30 – main group, 8.45 – hobby start
ROUTE: Hoštejn – Drozdovská pila – Cotkytle – Štíty – Bukovice – Moravský Karlov – Svatá Trojice – Raškov – Hanušovice – Prameny – Pekařov – Knížecí cesta – Loučná n. Desnou – Velké Losiny – Šumperk – Sudkov – Leština – Mohelnice – Mírov – Javoří – Na Jahodné
REFRESHMENT POINT: Raškov (65.km main / 57.km short)
RESTPOINT: Bludoveček guesthouse near Šumperku (130.km main / 93.km short)
TERRAIN: approx. 50% asphalted forest roads, 30% lower-class roads, 19% paved forest and field roads, 1% footpaths.

START: 8.30 – main group, 7.45 – hobby group
ROUTE: Maletín – Svojanov – Borušov – Staré Město – Rychnov na Moravě – Sázava – Moravian Sázava valley – Výprachtice – Mariánka lookout tower – Dolní Čermná – fortress Orlice – Faltusův kopec – Vlčkovice – Mladkov – Lichkov – Králíky – Hedeč – Štíty – Hoštejn – Lupěné
REFRESHMENT POINT: Výprachtice (53.km main / 49.km short)
RESTPOINT: Poutní Dům Hedeč (100.km main / 78.km short)
TERRAIN: 40% asphalted forest roads and cycle paths, 30% lower-class roads, 30% paved forest and field roads.

ENTRY FEE
Entry fee for participation in Moravia Gravel 2027 is:
- for both stages 1200 CZK
- for one stage 600 CZK
Participants of Moravia Divide 2027 and Race Across Czechia 2027 (who paid the full starting fee) have one stage of MG27 free of charge.
Entry fee includes: gpx files with routes, GPS tracker rental, sticker with starting number, sticker with MG27 logo, ionic drink and small food at refreshment stands, drink of your choice at RestPoint, package delivery to RestPoints.
Entry fee does not include: accommodation or food in Bozeňov, hot food at RestPoints, additional merch (you can order T-shirts and caps for 400 CZK)

We will open registration on Sunday, November 29, 2026 at 8:30 PM.
Priority registration until November 13.

WITHDRAWAL FROM THE CHALLENGE
In case of cancellation of participation in the race, the paid entry fee is not refunded, but:
- if cancellation of participation by 31.8. there is a possibility to transfer it once to any other UltraBikers Cup race, without cancellation fee
- if cancellation from 1.-11.9. a cancellation fee of 300 CZK/stage is charged, the rest can be transferred
The entry fee can be transferred to another person at any time, without cancellation fee.
MG RULES AND SCORING
The rules are common to all mass start races and can be viewed in section RULES.
The points earned for performances in individual stages, plus bonus points for placement in them, are added to the overall MG27 ranking.
Bonus points for placement in the Women and 50+ categories are counted only for the year-round UB Cup, not for MG27 purposes.
